Holy Land Scholarship Program

The Holy Land Scholarship program provides funds for a young Christian to be able to attend school.  Father Peter Vasko was asked about establishing a scholarship at the Franciscan’s Terra Santa High School in Ramleh.  He responded that he thought it was a great idea, but the cost per student per year was $1300. However, he stressed that we should not really consider offering a high school scholarship unless we were willing to fully fund it for four years because you do not want to start a young person in school only to have them drop out when the funds run out.  He then proceeded to identify young people from Ramleh who would make excellent candidates.  St. King Charles the Martyr is currently sponsoring one student in honor of Grand Master II RADM James J. Carey, GCTJ, GMTJ, with your donations.
