This is a day to remember - at 6:18 PM local time, November 12th 2007 - the day when a Templar presence was established in the Holy Land after a period of 717 years! A Provisional Commandery of the Holy Land have been established as a subordinate element of the Priory of the St. King Charles the Martyr.

• Reverend Father Peter Vasko being sworn in as the Acting Commander of the Provisional Commandery.
• Bishop Riah have accepted to become the Provisional Commandery's Chaplain.

The commandery received a first donation from Templar Brothers and Sisters participating in the first Convent and Investiture held in Saint John's Chapel, Lutheran Church of the Redeemer Old City Jerusalem. Dame Sheila Disney donated a set of spurs and a hand-made alter cloth emblasoned with the words "SMOTJ" and "Holy Land".
